Dialogue Service Descriptions (Standalone Usage)
Access to the most useful dialogue services provided by Openreach is made available via the Portal. This allows queries to be made of Openreach data/records without having to use one of the order processes. Access to four Dialogue Services is available, these are:
| Find an Address | search Openreach's address database for addresses matching specified input data (e.g. a postcode) |
| Obtain Installation Details | Find out the current configuration of a line |
| Query Line Availability | search the network records for available network serving a particular address and/or check whether a number can be retained when moving address |
| Find a Number | search for available numbers that could be used at a given address |
The dialogue services are accessed via the "Dialogue" screen on the Portal, see below:
